A Perfect Day at the Villa: From Sunrise Swim to Sunset Dinner

Our guests often arrive with long lists of places to see. By day three, most of them have discovered the real secret of a villa holiday: some of the best days are the ones where you don’t go anywhere at all.
07:00 — A sunrise swim
The pool is at its most beautiful in the early morning, when the water is perfectly still and the sea below turns from grey to silver to blue. Slip in before anyone else is awake and you’ll have the whole view to yourself.
09:00 — Breakfast on the terrace
Fresh bread from the village bakery, ripe tomatoes, figs, honey, olives and strong coffee. Ask us to arrange a breakfast basket delivered to the door on your first morning.
11:00 — Do absolutely nothing
Find a sun lounger, open a book, close a book, have a swim. Repeat as needed. There’s shade on the terrace when the sun gets strong.

14:00 — A long, lazy lunch
Salads, grilled halloumi and watermelon cut into thick slices. The outdoor kitchen makes it easy to cook without stepping inside.
17:00 — Golden hour
As the heat fades, the light becomes soft and golden — the perfect time for photos, a walk down to the cove or a glass of chilled rosé.
20:00 — Dinner under the stars
Light the lanterns, fire up the barbecue or book our private chef for a five-course dinner on the terrace. Finish the night with a late swim under the stars.
Tomorrow, you can explore. Today, you’re on villa time.

This is exactly how we spent most of our week at Coral Bay. The sunset swims were unforgettable.
Is the private chef available for a group of eight? We’re planning a birthday dinner.
Hi Daniel, absolutely! Our chef regularly cooks for groups of eight to ten at Villa Coral Bay. Let us know your date and any dietary needs and we’ll put together a menu.
The breakfast basket on our first morning was such a lovely touch. Highly recommend ordering it!
