What to Pack (and What to Leave at Home) for a Seaside Villa Holiday

One of the joys of staying in a fully equipped villa is that you can leave half your suitcase at home. Here’s our honest guide to what you’ll need — and what we’ve already taken care of.
Already at the villa
- Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels
- Hairdryer, iron and ironing board
- Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand soap
- A fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, kettle and toaster
- Beach umbrella, beach mats and a cool box
- Travel cot, high chair and baby bath on request
Worth bringing
- Reef-safe sunscreen. The sun is strong from May to October, and the sea life will thank you.
- Water shoes. Many of the best coves are pebbly.
- A light jacket. Evenings can be breezy in spring and autumn.
- Snorkel and mask. The water is so clear you’ll want to see what’s below.
- A good book — or three.

Leave at home
Beach towels, hairdryers, adaptors for the kitchen and that third pair of sandals. You won’t need them.
Forgot something? Don’t worry — there’s a well-stocked pharmacy and supermarket 5 minutes away, and we’re only a message away.

Really helpful list, thank you! Are beach towels also provided or just pool towels?
Hi Sarah — both! You’ll find a stack of beach towels in the cupboard by the terrace doors.
Can confirm the water shoes tip. Best decision of our trip.
