Planning a Group Getaway: How to Share a Villa Without the Stress

Sharing a villa with friends or family is one of the best ways to travel: more space, more time together and a much better price per person. A little planning goes a long way.

Agree on the budget early

Decide on the villa, the dates and roughly how much you’ll spend on food and activities before anyone books flights. A shared spreadsheet or a payment-splitting app keeps things fair and simple.

Sort the bedrooms fairly

At Villa Coral Bay, all four bedrooms have their own air conditioning and sea views, and three have en-suite bathrooms. Draw names from a hat for the master suite — or let the person who did all the planning have it.

Plan a few things — but not everything

Pick one or two shared activities, like a boat trip or a dinner in the harbour, and leave the rest of the time free. Some people will want to explore, others will want to read by the pool all week. Both are perfect.

Take turns in the kitchen

Pair up and take turns cooking dinner. It’s a lovely way to share recipes, and nobody spends the whole holiday at the stove. For a special night, book our private chef and let everyone relax.

Book direct

Booking directly with us means you speak to real people who know the villas inside out. We can help with transfers, car rental and restaurant reservations for the whole group.

We did the names-from-a-hat thing for the bedrooms and it worked perfectly. Great tips!

Could a group of 10 stay at Coral Bay if two are small children?

Hi Ahmed! The villa sleeps 8, but we can add two travel cots for children under 3. For older children, get in touch and we’ll see what we can arrange.
