The header and sidebar of the blog. Go to WP Admin → Lodge WP Settings → Blog Options. See Blog Pages for setting up the blog page.
Blog header
Shown at the top of the blog page, and of the category and author pages:
- Subtitle, Title and Description: e.g. “Our journal”, “Stories from the mountains” and a short introduction.
- Alignment: Centered or Left.
- Background Style: Transparent or Highlight.
Search and tag pages get their own title automatically, e.g. “Search results for: hiking”.
Blog sidebar
- Blog Sidebar: On adds a sidebar next to the list of posts, on the blog page and the category, tag, author and search pages.
- Search Form: a search box.
- Featured Posts: the posts with Featured Post ticked in the post editor.
- Recent Posts: the latest posts.
The category filters above the posts are added automatically, one for each category that has posts.
