Tracking & Scripts

Documentation Menu

Code snippets added to every page of your website: analytics, advertising pixels, chat widgets, verification tags and so on. Go to WP Admin → Lodge WP Settings → Tracking & Scripts.

Options

  • Head: printed inside <head>. For analytics (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager), pixels, verification meta tags and JSON-LD schema.
  • After opening <body>: printed right after <body>. For the <noscript> part of Google Tag Manager and similar snippets.
  • Footer: printed before </body>. For chat widgets and scripts that should load last.

Paste the full code you received, including the <script> tags.

Example: Google Tag Manager

  1. Paste the first part of the Tag Manager code (the <script>) in Head.
  2. Paste the second part (the <noscript>) in After opening <body>.
  3. Click on Update.

This code runs on every page, so only paste code from sources you trust. A broken snippet can break the layout of your website: if that happens, remove it here.

For security, this tab is only shown to users who are allowed to add unfiltered HTML (administrators). The code is not included in demo imports.
